Please join us in celebrating the achievements of the 2008 filmmakers!

Cowboy Awards will be presented to the winners in each of the seven competitive programs as well as the creative and technical categories.

Recipients of the first Online 2 OnScreen MovieHatch and Jackson Hole Film Festival Short Film Competition will also receive their awards.

The Jackson Hole Film Festival established the Nellie Tayloe Ross Award to honor an actress who embodies the independent spirit and reflects the mission of the Festival. Past recipients of the Nellie Tayloe Ross Award are Joan Allen and Thora Birch.

In an effort to bring filming back to Wyoming, The Wyoming Film Council will also present the winner of their first annual Wyoming Short Film Contest with $25,000. This funding will go towards the production budget of their next project shot in Wyoming.
