(Jackson Hole, Wyoming - May 15, 2007) - The Jackson Hole Film Institute is pleased to announce that Brett Ratner, one of Hollywood's most successful feature film directors, has signed on as an honorary board member for the 2007 Jackson Hole Film Festival, taking place June 7-11 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Ratner's seven feature films have grossed over one billion dollars worldwide and include critical and box office hits such as Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2 and the soon to be released Rush Hour 3, Red Dragon, After the Sunset, X-Men: The Last Stand and The Family Man. Ratner joins a prestigious list of existing board members including entertainment executive Ruth Vitale, David O'Connor and Rick Kurtzman of Creative Artist Agency, Peter Nichols from the entertainment law firm of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler & Goodman, Inc., JJ Healy formerly with Yahoo Inc., and other community, business, technology and film industry veterans.
Now entering its fourth year, The Institute has built its flagship program, The Jackson Hole Film Festival, into a premier destination festival, which has drawn remarkable international talent and interest to date, nearly doubling attendance annually.
